Patented Seal Technologies Leaks are the single largest destrimental factor working against the interity of a glovebox. At a microscopic level, there are always unfilled spaces between a gasket and its mating surfaces. Because of these gaps there is always a leak of some magnitude at the junctions, especially after seals degrade due to age and organic vapors.
